Tax Season Preparation
GETTING READY FOR TAX SEASON
New Clients
For those of you who have never been to our office, we need to explain to you how the process works.
Unless you have a business, we do walk-ins on a first-come, first-serve basis during our normal office hours. Please click the link, “office hours”, for further details.
Since we have never done your taxes before, it is imperative that you bring in certain information. This includes a copy of your tax returns for the last two years you have filed, a copy of the Social Security Card(s) for the dependent(s) that you are claiming, and a Driver’s License/ State ID.
Please download the following Client Organizer PDF file [add link to client organizer pdf file] and complete to the best of your ability before coming in. Be sure to read the paperwork for further instruction as to what additional tax information is needed.
To ensure that we will be able to see you on the day you arrive, it is necessary that you make it in an hour before we close. Please see office hours for more detail.
Existing Clients
You have been down to the office and pretty much know the drill at this point, but there have been a few tweaks made to help things run smoother. We have listed a few ways that we can help service you better.
Appointments by Requests – for those who cannot come during normal business hours can now make an appointment (subject to availability). Please refer to our office hours for further details on when appointments can be made.
Drop off Services- In addition to the situation mentioned above, there are those that live far away and is very inconvenient to come in person and does not mind waiting a few weeks for the return to be prepared, we are accepting drop-offs, mail-ins, faxes, or scan and email of tax information. Just send in your paperwork via any of the ways listed and we will take care of the rest. Please make sure to list your contact information and best time to reach you.
